Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon in a deal worth more than £60m, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is reporting that the Gunners are keen to bring the 24-year-old attacking midfielder to The Emirates as they prepare for the potential exits of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

The same report claims that the deal is “almost done” and that could allow Sanchez to leave Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The move would see Fekir link up with his former Lyon team-mate Alexandre Lacazette, who signed for the Gunners from the French side back in the summer transfer window.

The same story claims that Arsenal would be willing to accept fees of around £30m for both Sanchez and Ozil in the January transfer window.

Both Ozil and Sanchez are out of contract in the summer and it appears that neither player are keen on signing new deals with the north London side.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have the small matter of their crunch derby showdown with Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners head into that game looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 3-1 loss to Manchester City before the international break.
