Arsene Wenger’s side surprised their critics with a resolute performance in a 2-0 win over their bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday.
Arsenal managed to outfight and outwork Tottenham in a comfortable win thanks to goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez.
The Gunners have a 100 per cent record at The Emirates in the Premier League this season thanks to victories over Leicester City, Brighton, West Brom, Bourmemouth and Swansea City.
But their away form has been woeful with a return of four points from six games to leave Wenger’s side 12 points adrift of current leaders Manchester City.
Arsenal will make the trip to Burnley in their next Premier League game as Sean Dyche’s men look to overhaul the Gunners.
Indeed, Burnley are level on 22 points with Arsenal and Liverpool following a brilliant start to their campaign.
Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand has suggested that Burnley could quickly end the feel-good factor at The Emirates.
“They go to Burnley next weekend. I’ll back Burnley to win that game,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“Burnley are in good form, it’s a hard place to go and I don’t know what we’re going to get out of Arsenal.”
