Frank Lampard praises Willian for ‘party trick’ in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool FC
Frank Lampard was hugely impressed by Willian's impact from the bench in Chelsea's 1-1 draw at Liverpool FC

Frank Lampard heaped praise on Willian after the Brazilian attacker came off the bench to inspire Chelsea to salvage a 1-1 draw against Liverpool FC on Saturday.
After a goalless first half at Anfield, it was Liverpool who took the lead in the 65th minute when the in-form Mohamed Salah slotted hime to fire the home side in front.
Antonio Conte reacted by bringing on both Cesc Fabregas and Willian – and the move paid dividends as the Brazilian netted an equaliser for the Blues in the 85th minute at Anfield.
And former Chelsea midfielder Lampard was impressed by Willian’s cameo performance against the Reds as he reflected on the win after the game.
Speaking to BT Sport, Lampard said: “I think it was a cross [for the goal].
“It’s Willian’s party trick actually – he’s probably the best in the Premier League at standing someone up and shifting the ball quickly.
“Liverpool defended it pretty well and it pushed him to where he doesn’t want to be [out wide].
“I think at that point he’s just trying to get it back in the danger zone.”
Chelsea’s draw left them in third place in the Premier League table and eight points behind leaders Manchester City, who take on Huddersfield Town on Sunday.
The Blues will return to Premier League action next week when the take on Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are fifth as they turn their attentions towards their Premier League trip to Stoke on Wednesday night.
