Cesc Fabregas is in unbelievable form for Chelsea ahead of Saturday’s trip to Liverpool, Ian Wright says.

The Spanish midfielder made two assists in the west London side’s 4-0 win against West Brom at The Hawthorns in the Premier League last weekend.

The 30-year-old has scored one goal and has made three assists in 11 appearances in the Premier League this term.

Fabregas has established himself as a regular in the Chelsea team this season despite struggling for a regular starting spot in 2016-17.

The World Cup winner will come up against top-six rivals Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The defending champions are nine points behind current leaders Manchester City after 12 games.

Former Arsenal striker Wright heaped praise on Fabregas for his brilliant form in the 2017-18 season so far.

“Cesc Fabregas is weaving magic for Chelsea,” Wright told The Debate on Sky Sports. “He’s playing unbelievable stuff.”

Fabregas moved to Chelsea in a £27m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in the 2014 summer transfer window.

The Spanish midfielder has won two Premier League titles in three seasons at Stamford Bridge after failing to win the top-flight during eight seasons at Arsenal.

Chelsea lost to Fabregas’ former club in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May.
