N’Golo Kante looked to be in good shape as he trained with his Chelsea team-mates at Cobham over the weekend.

The French midfielder has been working his way back to full fitness with the west London side after having been out of action for a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

Kante made his return to action for Chelsea as the Blues claimed a 1-0 victory over Manchester United before the international break thanks to Alvaro Morata’s winner.

The midfielder has not been called up to the squad for France’s friendly games in recent days as he instead remained with his club to work on his fitness levels.

Kante will be expecting to start for the Blues when they take on West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns after the international break.

Antonio Conte’s men will be aiming to string together a positive run of results as the hectic festive period looms large.

And Kante seemed to be in high spirits as Chelsea continued their preparations for next weekend’s clash against the Baggies at The Hawthorns.

Chelsea are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Manchester City after 11 games of the new campaign.

The Blues are aiming to defend their Premier League title after having lifted the trophy last season.
