Chelsea will have to pay £50m to reunite 30-year-old Bayern star with Conte – report
Chelsea will have to cough up £50m to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal in the summer, according to reports in Germany

Bayern Munich are willing to sell reported Chelsea target Arturo Vidal in a £50m deal in next summer’s transfer window, according to reports in Germany.
Kicker, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the Premier League champions are looking to strengthen their midfield options as the Blues look to plug the hole left by Serbia international Nemanja Matic.
The same article states that Bayern’s £50m asking price is well above Chelsea’s £34m valuation of the retired Chile international.
According to the same story, Carlo Ancelotti’s sacking as Bayern manager has opened up the possibility of the 30-year-old versatile midfielder leaving the Allianz Arena at the end of the campaign.
The German media outlet suggests that Bayern have become disillusioned with Vidal’s poor performances in the Bundesliga this season, while the experienced South American suffered the blow of Chile missing out on a place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Vidal’s current Bayern contract will expire in 2019 to open up the possibility of the former Juventus man leaving for nothing in 24 months, which perhaps explains the German club’s willingness to sell.
The former Chile midfielder won two Serie A titles under Conte during the manager’s spell in charge of Juventus before he took over the reins of the Italian national team.
