Willian has admitted his frustration at his lack of game-time at Chelsea this season under Antonio Conte.

The Brazilian won plenty of praise as the Blues’ only consistent performer in an otherwise disappointing season for the west London club in 2015-16, as Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League table.

The 29-year-old Brazilian attacker has found his playing time to be severely limited in the Premier League this season, with the forward having only started six of the Blues 12 top-flight games.

His lack of playing time has prompted speculation that he could be a transfer target for Manchester United next year.

However, the player himself insists that he is fully respectful of Antonio Conte’s decisions, despite admitting that he would love to be playing more often for the Blues.

Willian told BBC Sport’s Football Focus: “Of course I want to play every game, but I respect every decision because we have great players in the squad, so you have to respect Conte’s decision.

“But every player wants to play.”

Willian will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Champions League action on Wednesday night with a clash against Qarabag in Azerbaijan.

The Brazil international, who is yet to score this season, played the final 13 minutes of Chelsea’s 4-0 win over West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday as the Blues moved up to third place in the table.
