Eden Hazard has revealed that he has not thought too much about his long-term future beyond this season at Chelsea.

The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the finest attacking talents in European football since his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Lille back in 2012.

Hazard won the PFA player of the year award as he helped Chelsea to win the Premier League in the 2014-15 campaign and also played an instrumental role in the Blues’ title triumph under Antonio Conte last season.

The playmaker’s future has been a source of speculation in recent seasons, with Real Madrid having been regularly touted as a possible future destination for the midfielder.

However, the former Lille man insists that he is not thinking too much about what’s ahead as he prefers to focus on the present.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Hazard said: “I don’t know, we will see. I live in the present so for the moment I feel good, my body feels good. I am happy with what I’m doing, I will see.

“I don’t want to say I will play until I’m 36, I just want to be happy on the pitch and if I stop at 31 or 32 that’s no problem. I’m only 26 so I have time to think about this.”

Chelsea return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to the Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion.

The Blues are aiming to retain their Premier League title this season while also competing for the Champions League after having missed out on a place in Europe last term.
