Frank Lampard admits he's been impressed by Mohamed Salah's strong form for Liverpool FC
Frank Lampard has admitted that Mohamed Salah was once again in top form for Liverpool FC in their clash with Chelsea on Saturday.
The Egypt international has made a flying start to his career at Stamford Bridge after having signed for the west London club from Roma in the summer transfer window.
Salah scored Liverpool FC’s opener in the 65th minute with a cool finish, before Willian ended up netting an equaliser for the west London side.
The 25-year-old attacker has now scored 10 goals and made two assists in the Premier League for the Reds so far this season.
And Chelsea legend Lampard, who played alongside Salah during his failed spell at Stamford Bridge, was very impressed with what he saw from him on Saturday.
Speaking during BT Sport‘s coverage of the game, Lampard said: “He was very good [against Chelsea].
“It’s a continuation of how he’s been playing all season. He was sharp and his finish was clinical – no panic whatsoever.”
Salah will be hoping to continue his scoring form for Liverpool when the Reds return to Premier League action on Wednesday night with a trip to the bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke City.
The Merseyside outfit are aiming to challenge for the Premier League title under Jurgen Klopp this season as they look to try and better their fourth-placed finish from last term.
