Liverpool FC furious with latest Barcelona transfer offer for Philippe Coutinho – report
Liverpool FC are not happy about Barcelona's latest attempt to sign Philippe Coutinho, say reports
Liverpool are “furious” with Barcelona’s latest attempt to sign Philippe Coutinho, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Express, is claiming that the Merseyside outfit are not happy about the La Liga giants’ most recent advances.
Barcelona were heavily linked with a move to sign Coutinho in the summer transfer window but a move failed to materialise as Liverpool stood firm and refused to sell their talismanic player.
Now, it is being claimed that Barcelona want to include Andre Gomes as part of the deal to land Coutinho, but Liverpool are not impressed.
It is reported that Liverpool have no interest in landing Gomes, but another swap deal could be on the cards as Barcelona try to reduce the Reds’ asking price.
The same story says that Rafinha, Aleix Vidal or Arda Turan could be offered to the Merseyside outfit as part of their deal to land Coutinho.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona will return with an official bid to try and land Coutinho in the January transfer window or not.
The Brazilian has been reintegrated into the Liverpool side in recent weeks, and he has scored four goals and made three assists so far this season.
