Frank Lampard opens up about talented Liverpool FC star
Frank Lampard discusses Mohamed Salah's impressive form for Liverpool FC this season
Frank Lampard feels that Mohamed Salah’s confidence levels have risen significantly since his transfer to Liverpool FC from Roma in the summer.
The Egypt international has made a flying start to his career on Merseyside since signing for the Reds from Roma in the summer transfer window.
Salah continued his fine form on Saturday evening when he scored Liverpool FC’s opener in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield.
The 25-year-old has now netted 10 goals and made two assists in his first 13 Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s men in what has been a sensational start for the attacker.
Lampard played alongside Salah for a short time during the winger’s spell at Chelsea before he was sold to Roma in a permanent transfer.
And the former England midfielder has opened up about what he thinks has changed about Salah since his move to Liverpool FC.
Speaking to BT Sport on Saturday night, Lampard said: “He feels like he deserves to be there [at Liverpool].
“He’s always had the ability – he was quick and had good feet – but now he feels like he’s a top player.
“He’s got real humility. I like that in him.”
Salah will be expecting to start for Liverpool FC when the Reds take on Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Wednesday night as they bid to return to winning ways in the Premier League.
The Reds dropped down into sixth place in the Premier League table after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Anfield at the weekend.
