Mark Lawrenson: Why Jurgen Klopp is still perfect fit for Liverpool FC
The Liverpool FC manager is still the right man for the Anfield outfit, according to Mark Lawrenson

Jurgen Klopp is the perfect fit for Liverpool FC, Mark Lawrenson has claimed.
The Merseyside outfit appointed the former Borussia Dortmund boss as their new manager in October 2015 following the dismissal of Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp led Liverpool to the League Cup and the Europa League in his first season in charge but the Reds lost to Manchester City and Sevilla.
The 18-time English champions finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to Europe’s premier club competition.
Liverpool reached the group stage courtesy of a 6-4 aggregate win against Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the Champions League playoff round.
The Merseyside outfit have conceded 17 times in 12 games in the Premier League to drop down to fifth place in the table and 12 points behind Manchester City.
Liverpool’s ambition for the 2017-18 season look to be a top-four place rather a title challenge given their inconsistent results in the top flight.
Former Liverpool defender Lawrenson is adamant Klopp remains the right manager for the Reds.
“They know he is a perfect fit for Liverpool in how he conducts his business,” Lawrenson told Newstalk.
“I do [agree with that]. It has become so much more difficult.”
Liverpool were forced to settle for 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday evening after Willian’s late goal cancelled out Mohamed Salah’s opener.
