Michael Owen: What I really think about Liverpool FC summer signing
The Liverpool FC legend opens up about summer signing Mohamed Salah after his prolific start at Anfield

Michael Owen has heaped praise on Mohamed Salah for a prolific start to his Liverpool career.
The Reds signed the Egypt international in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma as Jurgen Klopp added more pace to the Liverpool team.
Salah scored Liverpool’s opening goal in a 3-0 victory over Slovenian opponents Maribor at Anfield after a deft finish from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross.
The Liverpool summer signing has scored five goals and has made two assists in 10 appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
Salah has also netted five goals and made one assist in six games in the Champions League this term to make an effortless transition to Liverpool.
Former Liverpool striker Owen hailed Salah’s goal record in his opening three months of the 2017-18 season.
“His goal record for Liverpool is already good,” Owen told BT Sport.
“He is one of those players where chances just fall for him.”
The African forward scored twice in Liverpool’s 4-1 win against West Ham on Saturday evening.
Salah scored 15 goals in Serie A last season but the Egyptian has already netted 10 times in all competitions so far this term.
The African forward spent six months at Chelsea in 2013-14 before he returned to Serie A.
