The Republic of Ireland international has been ever-present in the Brighton defence alongside Lewis Dunk this season.
The Seagulls have conceded 11 times in 11 games in the Premier League to help Chris Hughton’s men secure a place in the top half of the table.
In fact, Brighton have a far superior defensive record than Arsenal and Liverpool.
Duffy has also been one of the Republic of Ireland’s key players in their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign after he helped Martin O’Neill’s men to reach the playoffs.
Former Everton and Manchester City defender Dunne believes Duffy deserves to be attracting interest from Arsenal and Liverpool given his consistent performance level.
“His tackling is outstanding. His reading of the game is improving. There’s no-one better when it comes to heading the ball in the air,” Dunne told Newstalk.
“His performances for Ireland and Brighton over the last two months, he is putting himself in the bracket where people are starting to notice him now.
“When you think of Liverpool and Arsenal are desperate for a centre-half, he is someone people are going to start talking about. Brighton are keeping clean sheets and in the top 10 in the league.
“He’s one of their star performers. He is young enough to go to that level. He has so much room to grow.”
Duffy started his professional career with Everton but moved to Blackburn Rovers in a permanent deal in 2014 following loan moves at Scunthorpe United, Burnley and Yeovil Town.
The Irish defender was a key part of Hughton’s side that achieved promotion to the Premier League last term.
