Jamie Carragher: I underestimated Liverpool FC star, he’s proving me wrong
Jamie Carragher explains why he's been so impressed by Mohamed Salah's displays for Liverpool FC this season

Jamie Carragher has admitted that he underestimated just how much of an impact Mohamed Salah was going to have at Liverpool FC this season.
The Egypt international has been getting used to life at Anfield after signing for the Reds from Serie A side Roma in the summer transfer window.
Salah has made a flying start to life on Merseyside and scored seven goals and made two assists in his first 11 Premier League outings for Jurgen Klopp’s men
The pacy 25-year-old seems to fit perfectly into Klopp’s side and has already established himself as a key player for the Reds this season.
And although former defender Carragher was expecting to see Salah have a big impact at Anfield, he admits that he has been surprised by how well he has started his Liverpool FC career.
Writing in his column for the Daily Telegraph, Carragher said: “When I saw Salah score his first for the club at Watford on the opening day, I felt this was a player who would score 15 this season.
“I underestimated. He is on schedule to get 25.
“The Egyptian is more than a traditional winger. He is a wide striker with the ability to get into goal-scoring positions every time he plays.”
Liverpool FC return to Champions League action in midweek when they travel to Spain to take on Sevilla, looking to take a step closer towards the knockout phase of Europe’s elite club competition.
The Reds are aiming to better their fourth placed finish in the Premier League under Klopp last season as they look to progress under the German coach.
