Frank Lampard reckons that Liverpool FC's signing of Mohamed Salah was the best piece of transfer business in the summer

Frank Lampard believes that Liverpool FC completed the best piece of transfer business this summer by securing the signing of Mohamed Salah from Roma.
The Egypt international has been one of the Premier League’s standout performers since his transfer to Anfield from the Serie A side and he once again proved his worth to the Reds with a man of the match display in Saturday’s 4-1 win at West Ham.
Salah has scored seven goals and made two assists in 11 Premier League appearances for Liverpool so far this season and has underlined his status as one of the Reds’ most exciting attacking players.
And former Chelsea star Lampard believes that Salah is clearly one of the best attacking players in the Premier League and praised Liverpool for completing a brilliant signing in the summer.
Lampard said on BT Sport after Liverpool’s win at West Ham: “Mo Salah has probably been the signing of the summer with his form so far.”
Liverpool will return to Premier League action after the international break when they host Southampton at Anfield on Saturday 18 November.
The Reds are aiming to challenge for the title this season after they finished in fourth place under Jurgen Klopp last term.
The Merseyside outfit have not won a trophy since Klopp took over at Anfield back in October 2015.
