Philippe Coutinho has heaped praise on Mohamed Salah following his fast start to life at Liverpool FC.
The Egypt international has been getting used to life at Anfield after joining the Reds from Italian side Roma in the summer transfer window.
Salah has made a brilliant star to his Liverpool FC career, scoring 13 goals and making three assists in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit.
He has earned a reputation as one of the Reds’ most potent attacking players and has been in fine form in recent weeks.
And after having linked up with him for a number of months now, Coutinho has talked up his importance to the Liverpool FC team.
Liverpool FC playmaker Coutinho is quoted as saying by Metro: “He’s a great player. Everyone – us and the fans – have been really impressed with the way he’s settled in here, the way he’s adapted to the team in a new country.
“Everything is fully deserved, he’s a great bloke, he always trains hard and he’s there when we need him – that is good for Liverpool.”
Coutinho, Salah and their Liverpool team-mates are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Chelsea at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds head into the game looking to bounce back after the disappointment of squandering a three-goal lead against Sevilla in the Champions League in midweek.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are fresh from having booked their place in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition with a 4-0 win over Qarabag in Baku on Wednesday night.
