Linda Pizzuti has taken to social media to heap praise on Mohamed Salah after the winger helped to inspire Liverpool FC to a thumping 4-1 win at West Ham on Saturday.

The Egypt international has been one of Liverpool’s top players this season so far since signing for the Reds from Roma.

Salah was named as the man of the match as he scored twice to fire Liverpool to victory over the sorry Hammers in east London on Saturday night.

And Pizzuti, the wife of Liverpool FC owner John W Henry, was clearly delighted by the potent attacking display put on by the Reds at the London Stadium as they made it back to back wins in the Premier League.

She tweeted after the final whistle on Saturday: “Hugs all around. Three points for Liverpool and a brace from @22mosalah. #lfc.”

Salah has been in impressive form for Liverpool this season, scoring seven goals and making two assists in 11 Premier League games for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Southampton at Anfield on Saturday 18 November.

The Reds are aiming to claw their way back into the title race after they finished in fourth place in the table under Klopp last term.
