Neymar wants to see Philippe Coutinho leave Liverpool FC and sign for Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.

French outlet Le10Sport, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that Neymar is keen for his fellow countryman to quit Anfield and move to PSG ahead of Barcelona, who he was heavily linked with during the summer months.

Coutinho was relentlessly linked with a move to Barcelona throughout the summer transfer window but a move failed to materialise for the Brazilian playmaker as Liverpool opted to keep hold of the attacker.

Now, however, Neymar is apparently looking to convince his friend to forget about Barcelona and instead favour a transfer to join him at PSG.

The report claims that Neymar has already been talking to Coutinho about a possible move to Camp Nou in recent weeks.

It remains to be seen whether Coutinho would be interested in a move to PSG and indeed whether Liverpool will consider selling the playmaker after they opted to keep hold of him in the summer.

Coutinho has made a strong start to the season after the uncertainty about his future, scoring four goals and making three assists in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
