Jurgen Klopp believes that Mohamed Salah can still improve his form for Liverpool FC in front of goal
Jurgen Klopp has told Mohamed Salah that he can still improve his form in front of goal for Liverpool FC.
The Egypt international has been in good form for the Reds since signing for the Merseyside outfit from Italian side Roma back in the summer transfer window.
Salah has seamlessly slotted into the first team at Anfield following his move, and scored seven goals and made two assists in 11 Premier League games.
The 25-year-old has progressed significantly since his move away from Chelsea to Roma in the summer of 2016.
However, although Salah has made a very positive start to life at Anfield, Liverpool FC boss Klopp feels that the winger still has some significant room for improvement.
Speaking at a news conference before Liverpool FC’s clash with Southampton on Saturday, Klopp said: “He could have scored even more [this season].
“He’s a fantastic player and can still improve.”
Salah will be hoping to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Champions League action on Tuesday night with a clash against Sevilla in Spain.
The Reds are aiming to book their place in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition as the hectic festive schedule in the Premier League looms large for Klopp’s men.
Liverpool FC return to Premier League action next weekend with a crunch clash against Chelsea at Anfield.
