According to reports in Italy, Liverpool FC have an interest in the Brazilian-born Azzurri star ahead of the January transfer window.
Speaking to The Guardian’s Football Weekly podcast, Serie A expert Baldini claimed that Jorginho would be a good signing for Klopp’s Liverpool FC team.
“He is running things for Napoli,” Baldini said.
“He is a very elegant midfielder. He runs the game from midfield. He could do a job at Liverpool.”
Jorginho moved to Napoli from Verona in the 2014 summer transfer window.
The Italian midfielder has scored five goals in 133 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A club.
Liverpool sold long-serving Lucas Leiva to Lazio in the summer to leave Klopp short on defensive midfielders.
