Man United ready to make January transfer bid to sign 30-year-old Chelsea star – report
Manchester United are considering a January transfer bid to sign David Luiz from Chelsea, say reports

Manchester United could make a sensational bid to sign David Luiz from Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is “closely monitoring” Luiz’s situation at Stamford Bridge and that the Red Devils could even make a transfer bid to sign him in January.
The same report states that Luiz has “fallen out” with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte after he was dropped for the Blues’ Premier League clash against Manchester United before the international break.
The story also reports that Luiz is still unhappy about being left out by Conte for the 1-0 victory over the Red Devils and it has cast doubt about his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United are said to be considering a move to sign Luiz, and possibly even in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are currently preparing for their crunch Premier League clash against Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, as they look to bounce back from the disappointment of their 1-0 loss to Chelsea.
