Juan Mata sends clear message to Man United summer signing
Juan Mata is backing Romelu Lukaku to be a big success at Manchester United in the long term

Juan Mata is backing Romelu Lukaku to help to fire Manchester United to a Premier League title challenge despite his recent dip in form.
The Belgian striker arrived at Old Trafford from Everton back in July as Jose Mourinho moved quickly to bolster his attacking options at Manchester United.
Lukaku was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea before he ended up settling for a move to Manchester United to link up with his former boss Mourinho.
The 24-year-old made a blistering start to life at Old Trafford in the Premier League, scoring seven goals in his first seven games.
However, he failed to find the net in the next six games to put him back under the spotlight at Old Trafford.
But Mata, who played alongside Lukaku during their time together at Chelsea, is fully expecting to see the Belgian forward quickly adapt to life at Old Trafford and says there is more to his game than just scoring goals.
Mata is quoted as saying by the Daily Star: “Rom’s a good man and I have no worries. Obviously, he wants to score because he’s a striker and when they manage that it helps their confidence.
“I don’t see him, though, as the kind of person who will be angry if the team wins and he doesn’t score.
“He’s a very good guy and we’re very happy with him, even if he doesn’t score.”
Manchester United will return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Saturday 18 November.
