Frank Lampard has claimed that Jose Mourinho “doesn’t care” how Manchester United perform as long as they are winning games ahead of their crunch clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

Manchester United took another big step towards qualification for the last 16 of the Champions League on Tuesday night when they sealed a 2-0 win over Benfica at Old Trafford.
That victory followed their 1-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford on Saturday, as Anthony Martial came off the bench to fire the Red Devils to victory over Spurs.

However, former Chelsea midfielder Lampard, who played under Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, reckons that the Portuguese coach will not be bothered by the performances as long as his team is winning.
Speaking to BT Sport on Tuesday night, Lampard said: “I don’t think Jose cares how they get through these games at the moment. He doesn’t care too much.”
