Andy Cole has warned Marcus Rashford that the Manchester United striker’s attitude whether he fulfills his potential.

The England international has become a firm favourite since bursting onto the Old Trafford scene under Louis van Gaal in 2015.

Rashford scored on his Premier League debut with two goals in a 3-2 victory over bitter rivals Arsenal at the Theatre of Dream.

The 21-year-old has also found the net on his Europa League, League Cup, Champions League and England debuts to underline his impressive mentality.

Rashford has netted seven goals and has made four assists in 18 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this term.

While Jose Mourinho has used Martial sparingly, the Manchester United boss hasn’t hesitated to place his faith in the England striker.

Former Red Devils striker Cole opened up about Rashford’s potential at Manchester United.

“That’s up to him. I get asked this all the time and I think that’s down to the individual and how far they want to go,” Cole told ESPN FC.

“You look at Rashford at the moment and he wants to extend himself to be as good as he can be, which is very, very good.

“In football, when you are young and you keep learning and you want to aspire to be the best, you never know where he can end up.”

Manchester United returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday evening following goals from Martial, Paul Pogba, Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku.

The Red Devils ended up in sixth place in the Premier League table but Mourinho’s men won the League Cup and the Europa League.

Rashford scored eight goals in 18 games in the 2015-16 season despite his lack of experience.
