The Times is reporting that the Red Devils have decided that they are ready to cash-in on the left-back, who has struggled to impress Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese coach’s arrival at the club back in May 2016.
Shaw, 22, has only made two substitute appearances from the bench so far this season and both of those run-outs have been in the League Cup.
The same report claims that Turkish side Fenerbahce want to take Shaw on loan in January for the rest of the season, but also claims that Manchester United would rather offload him on a permanent deal.
The story also suggests that Fenerbahce are ready to pay half of Shaw’s £130,000 a week salary, but the defender himself has no interest in a move to Turkey as things stand.
The Red Devils are hoping to find a buyer for Shaw after he struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Old Trafford following Mourinho’s appointment.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are currently preparing for a return to Premier League action and their home clash against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
