Roy Keane sends clear message to Man United fans after Basel loss
Roy Keane is staying positive despite Manchester United's 1-0 loss to Basel on Wednesday night

Roy Keane is certain that Manchester United will quickly bounce back from the disappointment of their 1-0 loss to Basel in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils lost their first game of the season in Europe’s elite club competition as they missed the chance to book their place in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition.
It means that Jose Mourinho’s men must now avoid defeat against CSKA Moscow in their final group game at Old Trafford next month to secure their progression to the knockout phase.
Manchester United had won all four of their previous Champions League group games this season and Keane insists that he is not concerned about their blip in Switzerland on Wednesday night.
Speaking to ITV Sport after the game, Keane said: “The big plus for United was that their form has been that good in the Champions League that they gave themselves room to slip up.
“It was a weakened team. There were five or six players in that team will not be in United’s strongest team.
“Mourinho will be looking at the bigger picture; forget about tonight and move on. They will be competing to win this title, without a doubt.
“When the lads come back to full fitness, Manchester United will compete with all the top teams, for sure.”
Manchester United must now dust themselves down as they prepare to return to Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Red Devils head into the game looking to keep pace with Manchester City at the top of the table, with Pep Guardiola’s men currently eight points ahead of Mourinho’s side.
Manchester United will host Manchester City in a crunch Premier League clash at Old Trafford on 10 December.
