Tim Sherwood sends blunt Man United transfer advice to 29-year-old
Former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood tells Marouane Fellaini to sign a new deal with Manchester United

Tim Sherwood has told Marouane Fellaini to forget about holding out for a move to a bigger club as the Manchester United midfielder continues to hesistate on signing a new deal.
The Belgium international has entered the final 12 months of his current Manchester United deal and is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2017-18 Premier League season.
Fellaini has been linked with a potential move to Turkish club Fenerbahce, while there have been murmurings of interest from China.
The 29-year-old initially struggled to win over the Manchester United supporters following his £27m move to Old Trafford from Everton in the 2013 summer transfer window.
The defensive midfielder was regularly criticised for his performance by the club’s fans during David Moyes and Louis van Gaal’s reigns.
However, Fellaini has come into his own under Jose Mourinho and the Manchester United boss has made him an important member of his team.
Former Spurs manager Sherwood admitted he can’t understand why Fellaini isn’t signing a new deal given the Belgian is already at the bigger club in the world.
“There isn’t a bigger club. Real Madrid?” Sherwood told Sky Sports.
“He ain’t going to Real Madrid. I’ll tell him that now.”
Fellaini has won the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League during his four-year stay at Manchester United.
