Mesut Ozil offered £200,000 a week to quit Arsenal – report
Mesut Ozil has been offered a route out of Arsenal on a free transfer next summer by Atletico Madrid, say reports

Atletico Madrid have contacted Mesut Ozil about the possibility of signing for the La Liga club next summer from Arsenal on a free transfer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that Atletico are keen to make a move to land the 29-year-old midfielder, whose current contract with the Gunners is due to expire at the end of the season.
The same report claims that Ozil has shown no intentions of wanting to sign a new contract with Arsenal, raising the realistic possibility that the north London side could lose him on a free transfer next summer.
The story claims that Atletico Madrid are prepared to offer Ozil a weekly salary of £200,000, as well as a “huge” signing-on fee at the end of the current campaign.
The same article states that Ozil has demanded wages of £300,000 a week from Arsenal to sign a new contract at the club, but he may have to accept lower terms.
Ozil has come in for criticism for his recent below-par performances for Arsenal, but the Germany star will be hoping to start for the Gunners when they host Tottenham at The Emirates on Saturday lunchtime.
Arsenal lost 3-1 to Manchester City at The Etihad before the international break.
