The playmaker was not involved in the matchday squad as Jurgen Klopp’s men sealed a 4-1 victory over the Hammers at the London Stadium before the international break.
Coutinho has been out since October 22 with a leg problem but he is now in line to feature for Brazil when they take on England on Tuesday night at Wembley.
And much to the relief of Liverpool fans, the playmaker has now confirmed that he is fully fit as he looks to help fire the Reds up the Premier League table.
Coutinho told Sky Sports News: “I’m 100 per cent fit.
“I had an injury and I missed three matches but now I’m coming back and I’m 100% ready for this match.
“Wearing the yellow shirt is always a real honour. It will be an honour to play in this game. We’re expecting to put on a great show in this match.”
The Brazilian playmaker will be hoping to feature for Liverpool when the Reds return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against Southampton.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are aiming to climb the Premier League table as the hectic festive period looms large, with the Reds currently 12 points behind leaders Manchester City after 11 games of the new campaign.
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League last season in what was Klopp’s first full season in charge at Anfield.
