Paul Ince is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to beat Crystal Palace at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

The north London side were brilliant 3-1 winners against La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.

Tottenham will be hoping to carry their European performance into their home clash against London rivals Crystal Palace as Mauricio Pochettino look to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Spurs lost 1-0 to title rivals Manchester United last weekend after France international Anthony Martial came off the bench to score an 81st-minute winner.

However, Palace could be the perfect opponents for Tottenham as Roy Hodgson’s side occupy bottom place in the Premier League following one win in 10 games this season.

Former Manchester United midfielder Ince is tipping Tottenham to beat Palace at the home of English football.

“Tottenham are coming into this game off the back of an historic win over Real Madrid. Talk about coming back to earth with a bump!” Ince told the Daily Express.

“Even so, I just can’t see them slipping up against Palace. They’ll also want to avenge their loss at Old Trafford last week.”

Tottenham finished in second place in the Premier League last season after ending up seven points behind eventual champions Chelsea.

Spurs have lost to Premier League title rivals Chelsea and Manchester United this term.

The north London side are looking to win the Premier League title for the first time in their history.
