Gary Lineker reacts to Paul Pogba’s display in Man United’s 3-1 win at Arsenal
The Spurs legend opens up about Paul Pogba's performance in a 3-1 win at Arsenal on Saturday evening

Gary Lineker hailed Paul Pogba’s brilliant performance in Manchester United’s 3-1 win at Arsenal on Saturday evening despite the talisman’s late sending off.
The club record signing made his long-awaited return to Premier League action from a serious hamstring problem last month after he suffered the injury in mid September.
Pogba sent a stark warning to Manchester United’s title rivals with one goal and made one assist in a 4-1 win over Newcastle United on his comeback performance to help his team put pressure on leaders Manchester City.
And the 25-year-old was dominant in the Manchester United midfield for 74 minutes during their commanding win against title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
Pogba played a key role in securing three points when the former Juventus midfielder managed to hold off Laurent Koscielny before teeing up Jesse Lingard to make it 3-1.
However, the versatile midfielder was sent off with 16 minutes to go for a needless and reckless challenge on Hector Bellerin to ensure a three-game suspension.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker hailed Pogba’s starring role in the thrilling Premier League clash before his dismissal.
Lineker wrote on Twitter: “Pogba has been exceptional in the game of the season.”
He added: “Pogba off. Don’t think it was deliberate.”
Pogba moved to Manchester United in a £89m deal from Serie A giants Juventus last summer.
The Red Devils will be without Pogba for next weekend’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
