Gary Neville posted a simple tweet to celebrate Paul Pogba’s commanding performance in Manchester United’s 3-1 win at Arsenal on Saturday evening.
The France international returned to the Red Devils side from a serious hamstring problem last month after his brilliant start to the campaign was cut short.
Pogba scored one goal and made one assist in a 4-1 win over Newcastle United on his comeback performance in the Premier League and the Red Devils have won three successive games to get their title bid back on track.
And the 25-year-old marshalled the Manchester United midfielder expertly during their thrilling victory over title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
Pogba produced one of the best moments of the match when the club record signing managed to hold off Laurent Koscielny before he found Jesse Lingard with a precise pass to make it 3-1.
Former Manchester United defender Neville heaped praise on Pogba for his role in the visitors’ third goal.
Neville wrote on Twitter: “Pogba!”
Pogba’s afternoon turned sour in the 74th minute when a clumsy challenge on Hector Bellerin resulted in the Manchester United midfielder’s sending off in north London.
The Red Devils will be without Pogba for next weekend’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
