Piers Morgan sends blunt message to Arsenal fans about 3-1 loss to Man United
The Arsenal shareholder has a blunt message for some of his fellow Gunners supporters

Piers Morgan slammed some Arsenal fans for “sugar coating” their 3-1 loss to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils made the trip to The Emirates looking to end the north London’s side 13-game winning run and secure a fourth successive top-flight victory.
Manchester United made the breakthrough in the fourth minute thanks to Ecuador international Antonio Valencia before Jesse Lingard doubled the visitors’ lead.
While Arsenal struggled to keep out Manchester United at the back, the Gunners attackers were in fine form but couldn’t find a way past De Gea in the Manchester United goal.
The Spain international was truly magnificent as he made a staggering 14 saves to keep the north London side at bay.
Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette combined in brilliant fashion to finally halve the deficit with the Manchester United defence out of position and leaving De Gea exposed.
Paul Pogba’s powerful run teed up Lingard to score his second goal of the Premier League clash to seal three points for Jose Mourinho’s men in their must-win fixture.
The 25-year-old’s night ended on a disappointing note following a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin.
Arsenal shareholder Morgan criticised his fellow supporters for “sugar coating” the loss.
Morgan wrote on Twitter: “Oh stop the sugar-coating & excuses, Gooners. We lost 3-1 at home to United. End. #afc”
