The Gunners failed to deal with Manchester United’s strong start to the game, as Jesse Lingard scored twice after Antonio Valencia’s opener at The Emirates.
Arsenal did manage to pull a goal back in the second half through Alexandre Lacazette, but the Gunners ended up slumping to a disappointing defeat in front of their home fans.
The north London side must now dust themselves down as they look to try and bounce back to winning ways when they take on Southampton at St Mary’s this weekend.
And former Arsenal defender Keown has admitted that he is concerned about the Gunners’ situation as the hectic festive period in the Premier League looms large.
Speaking to BT Sport after Arsenal’s defeat on Saturday, Keown said: “There are [tough] away games coming up now.
“I am concerned how Arsenal are going to react at Southampton and West Ham.”
Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
The Gunners are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table and 15 points behind leaders Manchester City after 15 games of the new campaign.
Arsenal finished in fifth place and won the FA Cup under Arsene Wenger last season.
