Ian Wright believes Wilfried Zaha has the talent to shine at Arsenal.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with a potential move to north London duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The African winger has been in impressive form to help Palace hoist themselves up the table in recent weeks.

The 25-year-old has scored five goals in 12 games in the Premier League this season to prove instrumental for the Eagles.

Zaha has also been linked with defending Premier League champions Chelsea ahead of the January transfer window.

The Ivorian winger spent two seasons at Manchester United but was unable to break into the first-team at Old Trafford.

However, former Arsenal striker Wright is under no illusion that Zaha has the talent to be a huge hit at Arsenal or Tottenham.

“Spurs have been linked. Arsenal have been linked,” Wright told Sky Sports.

“On ability wise, he is easily good enough. To play in a certain system, I’m not sure. He is a maverick.”

Arsenal signed two players in the summer transfer window after Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac moved to The Emirates.

The Gunners are facing uncertainty about Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, given the duo have less than 12 months remaining on his current deal.

Arsenal will make the short trip to Selhurst Park to face Zaha and Palace on Thursday night.
