David Seaman is fully expecting to see Arsenal claim a 3-1 win over Liverpool FC in Friday night’s crunch Premier League clash at The Emirates.

The north London side head into the game looking to gain revenge for their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of the Reds at Anfield when the two sides last met back in August.

Arsenal have been in slightly improved form in recent weeks, with the Gunners having secured their place in the semi-finals of the League Cup on Tuesday night with a 1-0 win over West Ham United at The Emirates.

Liverpool FC, meanwhile, have also been in top form and head into the game on the back of their 4-0 thrashing of Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium last weekend.

Arsenal know that victory over the Reds would move them up into fourth place over Christmas, with the battle for Champions League qualification looking set to hot up in the new year.

And Gunners legend Seaman says he is fully expecting to see the north London side claim all three points when they host the Merseyside outfit at The Emirates.

Speaking in an interview with TAG Heuer, Seaman said: “I’m going to go there 3-1 Arsenal because we need to redeem the terrible performance we’ve played at Anfield.”

Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
