N’Golo Kante makes revealing admission to Chelsea fans ahead of Newcastle clash
N'Golo Kante admits that he is not yet fully fit for Chelsea after his recent injury lay-off

N’Golo Kante has admitted that he is not yet back fully fit for Chelsea.
The French midfielder was an integral part of the Chelsea team who won the Premier League title last season in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club.
Kante was ruled out of action for a number of weeks during the early stages of the season after he suffered a muscular problem.
The PFA player of the year has been working his way back up to full fitness for the west London side as he bids to get himself into top shape for the hectic festive period in the Premier League.
But although he admits that he has been happy about his recent fitness levels, he still feels that he is not quite at 100 per cent yet.
Kante told Chelsea’s website: “I have been happy to come back from injury and play.
“It’s not easy to be away from the pitch. Whenever I am on the pitch I am happy and I try to give everything with my team-mates.
“I feel good. I am feeling better and better. I am almost at 100 per cent.”
Kante will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues tackle Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.
The west London side are aiming to defend their Premier League title this season but look like they face an uphill struggle to catch Manchester City.
Chelsea booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League last week with 4-0 win over Qarabag in Azerbaijan.
