The Daily Mirror is reporting that the defending Premier League champions are interested Palace’s Ivory Coast international.
The same article states that the Blues are currently weighing up a possible bid to sign the exciting 25-year-old attacker ahead of the January transfer window.
According to the same story, title holders Chelsea would face competition from their London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for the former Manchester United attacker.
Writing in the Daily Mirror article, football correspondent John Cross reveals that Chelsea are more likely to wait until the summer transfer window rather than make a move to sign Zaha in January.
The Ivorian forward has scored four times in 13 games in the Premier League this season under Frank de Boer and then Roy Hodgson at the London side.
Palace would be loathe to lose Zaha again after the African winger moved to Manchester United from the Eagles in the 2013.
However, the exciting attacker failed to establish himself at the 20-time English champions and secured a permanent return to Palace in 2015.
Chelsea signed six players in the summer transfer window to improve their squad depth but haven’t been able to keep pace with leaders Manchester City.
