Paul Ince states his prediction for Liverpool FC v Everton
The Liverpool FC legend is tipping Jurgen Klopp's side to beat Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Sunday afternoon
Paul Ince believes there is no way Everton can cause an upset at Anfield on Sunday and is backing Liverpool to ease to a resounding 4-0 win.
The Toffees have appointed Sam Allardyce as their new manager following a tough start to the season under Ronald Koeman and his interim replacement David Unsworth.
Everton have beaten Huddersfield Town and West Ham United in their last two Premier League games to hoist themselves up to mid-table and out of the relegation battle.
Liverpool were 7-0 winners against Spartak Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday night thanks to Philippe Coutinho’s hat-trick, Sadio Mane’s double and goals from Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
The Reds secured a 5-1 victory at Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League last weekend to extend their unbeaten run to six games in all competitions.
Liverpool FC were 3-1 winners against Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield back in March.
Former Reds midfielder Ince is tipping Liverpool FC to beat Everton at Anfield again this weekend.
“I was at Everton’s game against Huddersfield last weekend, and although they got the result, I’d be lying if I said that they looked good,” Ince told the Daily Express.
“They were unconvincing, and the result flattered them.
“I know it’s a derby game, and people say form goes out of the window, but the way Liverpool are playing at the minute, there’s no way they can beat them.”
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in the table in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
The 18-time English champions finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term.
