Jamie Carragher: What I really think about Liverpool FC under Jurgen Klopp
The Liverpool FC legend opens up about the Reds' performances under Jurgen Klopp ahead of next weekend's Merseyside derby

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool FC look in good shape ahead of the visit of Everton at Anfield next Sunday.
The Reds were 5-1 winners against promoted side Brighton and Hove Albion on the coast last weekend thanks to Emre Can’s header before second-half goals from Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
The Merseyside outfit have won five of their last six Premier League games to get their top-four challenge back on track following a difficult spell in September and October.
Liverpool FC have beaten Huddersfield Town, West Ham United, Southampton, Stoke City and Brighton after a return of 18 goals and three clean sheets.
Jurgen Klopp’s men hoisted themselves into fourth place ahead of Arsenal thanks to their emphatic win over Brighton.
Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher is impressed with the Reds’ current form ahead of the visit of Sam Allardyce’ rejuvenated Everton at Anfield on Sunday.
“They’re in very good shape,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“Liverpool are devastating going forward with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino now getting a lot more goals.
“The Champions League match in midweek [against Spartak Moscow] and Everton fixture are huge fixtures for Liverpool. It’s another huge midweek and weekend for Liverpool.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a return to the Champions League after a two-season absence.
The Reds signed four players in the summer transfer window after Klopp recruited AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah, Chelsea teenager Dominic Solanke, Hull City defender Andy Robertson and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
