Liverpool FC have scored 12 goals in their last three Premier League games following an emphatic 5-0 win against the Premier League’s basement club Swansea City on Boxing Day after a 3-3 draw with Arsenal and 4-0 away victory at Bournemouth.
Indeed, Only Premier League leaders Manchester City have scored more goals than Jurgen Klopp’s exciting team, who have netted 46 times in 20 games in the Premier League this season.
Furthermore, Liverpool FC haven’t lost in the Premier League despite their erratic performances under the German coach since a 4-1 loss to top-six rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on 22 October.
The Reds ended a difficult run of results at the King Power Stadium in recent seasons with a 3-2 win against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium back in September.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is confident the Reds can ease to three points thanks to their far superior fire power under Klopp.
“There have been 14 goals scored in the last three PL games played between the clubs and Jurgen Klopp will want his defence to pay particular attention to Jamie Vardy who has scored six of the eight goals the Foxes have scored against the Reds in their last four PL meetings,” Owen told BetVictor.
Owen added: “Only PSG (89) and Manchester City (78) have scored more goals than Liverpool (75) so far this season in all competitions and I think there will be goals at Anfield with the hosts getting more than their fair share.”
Liverpool FC have earned 26 points from their last 11 Premier League games to hoist themselves into the top four.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term.
