Mourinho won’t bring Chelsea star to Man United, claims Wilkins
The Chelsea legend doesn't believe Manchester United will sign out-of-favour David Luiz in January

Jose Mourinho wouldn’t be interested in signing Chelsea defender David Luiz for Manchester United, Ray Wilkins says.
The Brazilian defender has fallen out-of-favour at the defending Premier League champions over the past few months.
Luiz has fallen behind 21-year-old Danish defender Andreas Christensen in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, the 30-year-old’s relationship with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has nosedived to prompt speculation about his future.
Manchester United have been linked with a potential move to sign the Chelsea defender ahead of the January transfer window.
Mourinho made the decision to sell Luiz to Paris Saint-Germain in a £50m deal in the 2014 summer transfer window before the popular defender returned to Chelsea in 2016.
The Red Devils have the best defence in the Premier League but have struggled with injury problems at the back.
Former Chelsea number two Wilkins doesn’t believe Mourinho would be interested in signing the Brazilian centre-half next month.
“I don’t think Jose Mourinho will have David,” Wilkins told sportingbet.
“He wants to keep clean sheets and beat opposition one or two nil and with Luiz, he will struggle to do that.”
Luiz was part of the Chelsea team that won the Premier League title last term thanks to his impressive defensive partnership with Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill.
