The Red Devils boss faced the media at Old Trafford after watching his side come from behind to seal a 2-2 draw with Burnley in the Premier League.
Much has been made about Manchester United’s failure to keep pace with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table this season, with Pep Guardiola’s men almost out of sight already.
There is bound to be plenty of speculation linking Manchester United with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.
However, Mourinho was clearly in no mood to discuss his January plans on Tuesday after the draw at Old Trafford.
Asked by one reporter in the news conference if Manchester United “realistically spend heavily in the next two transfer windows?”, Mourinho refused to answer, blew a kiss to the assembled media and said that he would seen them in 2018.
Manchester United will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Southampton at Old Trafford looking to return to winning ways, following back to back draws against Leicester and Burnley.
