The Armenian’s move to The Emirates as part of the deal which sees Alexis Sanchez head to Manchester United was confirmed on Monday evening.
Arsenal have already been busy with some outgoing transfers this month, with the Gunners opting to sell both Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin in permanent deals.
Mkhitaryan would add to the wealth of attacking options at Wenger’s disposal at The Emirates.
And Wenger has moved to dispel any doubts about how he would be able to fit Mkhitaryan into his team at The Emirates.
Asked how he could fit Mkhitaryan and Ozil into the same team, Wenger is quoted as saying by Metro: “Just play the good players! They can always play together.
“[Against Crystal Palace] what have you on the pitch? They’re all attacking players. [Alex] Iwobi, Ozil, [Jack] Wilshere, [Alexandre] Lacazette, [Granit] Xhaka. They’re all offensive players, basically.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently preparing for the second leg of their League Cup semi-final clash at The Emirates on Wednesday night.
The Gunners and the Blues played out a goalless draw when the two teams last met in the first leg at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month.
Arsenal returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace in front of their home fans.
