Recent media reports have linked the Northern Ireland defender with a possible switch to The Emirates as Wenger considers bolstering his rearguard options at the north London club.
Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players this months as Wenger assesses his squad ahead of the second half of the season.
However, the Arsenal manager was in no mood to give anything away about the reported interest in former Manchester United star Evans.
Asked if there was any truth to the rumours linking Evans to Arsenal, Wenger told a news conference on Tuesday morning: “There is nothing to say.
“All that would only be philosophical to talk about it. As long as we don’t have any agreement with anybody, I believe the best is not to talk.”
The 30-year-old Evans has scored one goal and made one assist in 19 Premier League appearances for West Bromwich Albion so far this season.
Arsenal are currently preparing for the first leg of their League Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
The Gunners, who won the FA Cup last term, are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table as they try to break back into the top four this season.
