Sky Sports reporter: Brazilian’s agents in London ahead of proposed Arsenal move
Kaveh Solhekol claims that Malcom's agents were in London this weekend amid talk of a transfer to Arsenal
Kaveh Solhekol has revealed that Malcom’s agents were in London over the weekend amid reports that Arsenal could be set to swoop for the Bordeaux winger.
There have been widespread reports linking Arsenal with a move to sign the 20-year-old Brazilian this month amid the uncertainty about Alexis Sanchez’s future at The Emirates.
Malcolm was in action for Bordeaux against Troyes on Saturday night but Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has revealed that the attacker’s agents were in the English capital over the weekend amid talk of a move to The Emirates for their client.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter on Saturday night: “Arsenal target Malcom playing against Troyes tonight [Saturday].
“Runs half length of pitch & puts in brilliant cross for Laborde to give Bordeaux the lead. His agents were in London last night.”
Malcom has scored seven goals and made five assists in 19 Ligue 1 games for Bordeaux so far this season.
Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming days and weeks as the January transfer window hots up.
The north London side are aiming to try and break back into the top four this season after they finished in fifth place last term and had to settle for a Europa League spot.
Arsenal will take on Crystal Palace in their next Premier League game on Saturday 20 January as they look to try and climb the table before the season is out.
