Michael Owen makes Eden Hazard prediction for Chelsea FC v Bournemouth
The Liverpool FC legend is backing Eden Hazard to score for Chelsea FC against Bournemouth on Wednesday night
Michael Owen is backing Eden Hazard to continue his prolific record against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
The Belgium international scored a first-half winner in a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium back in October.
In fact, Hazard has scored five times in his last four Premier League games against the south coast club since Bournemouth’s promotion to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has netted 12 goals and has made four assists in 32 appearances in all competitions in the current campaign.
The Chelsea FC number 10 has been in a good run of form over the past three games following three goals and one assist.
The Blues are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games, although the west London side have collected 18 points from a possible 24.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Hazard to continue his goal-scoring run with another strike against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
“Chelsea are, reportedly, looking to bring in an experienced striker before the end of the transfer window on Wednesday night and it is possible that Michy Batshuayi will be on his way out of the Bridge despite scoring twice against Newcastle in the FA Cup on Sunday,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Eden Hazard has scored five times in his last four PL appearances against the Cherries and the Belgian may again be the scourge of Eddie Howe’s side at the Bridge.”
Chelsea FC are in third place in the Premier League table and three points behind Manchester United, who occupy the runners-up spot.
The Blues signed England international Ross Barkley in a £15m deal from Premier League rivals Everton earlier in the January transfer window.
