The Blues have inevitably been linked with a host of players over the last month as Conte considers bolstering his squad to get his team ready for the second half of the season.
Chelsea FC begun the transfer window quickly by wrapping up a deal to sign Ross Barkley from Everton at the turn of the year.
It is believed that the Blues are still interested in bringing in some more firepower up front, with the west London side having been linked with a host of names of late.
And Conte has hinted that he could be looking to bring in another striker, after he was asked if Michy Batshuayi could be shipped out on loan this month.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Sunday, Conte said: “Loan? I don’t know what happens. But when you play Premier League, Champions League and then FA Cup, if we have three strikers it is the minimum.
“We have to see what happens in the market. It doesn’t mean Michy has to go on loan. We have a lot of competitions. Three strikers is the minimum.
“I know there is a World Cup and every player wants to play to push the coach of their national team. But this is another situation.
“In this case, if the club decides to add another player, I don’t know if Michy wants to stay or go on loan, it will be the player’s decision not my decision.
“I’m ready to continue to work with these players. I’m very happy. But I don’t know what happens with the transfer market.”
Conte was speaking to the media after watching his Chelsea FC side book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup by beating Newcastle United 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues secured their progress thanks to two goals from Batshuayi in the first half and one from Marcos Alonso after the break.
