Cesc Fabregas has taken to social media to reveal that he has been training at Chelsea FC’s Cobham base this week despite currently being sidelined with an injury.

The Spanish midfielder will definitely miss Chelsea FC’s League Cup semi-final second leg clash against Arsenal at The Emirates on Wednesday due to a minor injury.

Antonio Conte confirmed the setback at his pre-match news conference at Cobham on Tuesday and also revealed that Alvaro Morata will be missing with a back injury.

However, Fabregas’ injury doesn’t look to be too serious after he posted a picture of himself in training at Cobham on Tuesday morning on his personal Instagram account.

Fabregas shared the photo above on the app and wrote the caption: “Training today 😀.”

The 30-year-old will be hoping to be back in action for the Blues as soon as possible, and it remains to be seen whether Fabregas will be fit for Chelsea’s home clash against Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Fabregas has been a regular fixture in the first team at Chelsea FC this season. He has started 16 Premier League games for the Blues and made four appearances from the bench for the west London side.

Chelsea and Arsenal played out a goalless draw in the first leg of the League Cup clash at Stamford Bridge earlier in the month.
